NM Legislature 2015

New Mexico’s legislature convened on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 far a “long” or 60-day session.  This year, anti-abortion extremists are busy congratulating themselves. They believe that their protests, which are known for their graphic imagery and highly controversial public ministry tactics such as targeting doctors at their homes and neighborhoods, forced the Governor to publicly announce her support for bills banning abortion later in pregnancy and forcing parental notification by minors.

We will be working with our partners in the NM Coalition for Choice, just as we have done so effectively for years, to make sure these bills and any others that are introduced never put the care a woman needs and deserves-and is her legal and human right-further out of reach.

To make sure you are ready help us to defeat any anti-woman, anti-family legislation.
